colourQ challenge #108...

Here we are for another fine colourQ challenge! Our inspiration today comes from this cool tutorial from Martha Stewart for these adorable Halloween Crackers! Isn't Martha just the MacGyver of the craft world - LOL! LADIES - start keeping those empty toilet paper rolls!

Here's my sample....

And from the always amazing and super talented Royal Court...

Let's get craft~y!!!

ENTRY DEADLINE is SUNDAY, October 30th at 12 noon CST, to be considered for colourQueen! If you miss the deadline but still want to link up, InLinkz will re-open the next day, so you can play with any of the previous colors anytime. You must be linked before the deadline to be in the running for colourQueen, though!

PLEASE use the palette provided for your project!

You'll notice that a few of our designers use colors similar to the SU! colors listed in the palettes - just try to keep it close!

Please display our palette badge, but at the VERY least, you MUST put a link in your post back to this challenge~ Thank you!

Using InLinkz, link to the actual post/gallery page your project is in, and select the thumbnail image of your project. Any mis-linked entries are subject to deletion, but I'll try to let you know if there's a problem!

*** Just so you know, InLinkz is not fool-proof, some of you may not be able to post the thumbnail of your card... if not, link your profile picture. But if you CAN post the thumbnail of your card, please do! If I have time I will go back & 'fix' the Inlinkz for those of you who cannot get your project thumbnail to post, oky-doky? If I do "fix" it for you, your thumbnail may be moved to a different position on the entry list ***

Hope you get to play along this week!!!

I totally LOVE this challenge concept and try to play, when I can!!

I'm never certain if I'm playing correctly so I did want to ask if it's okay to use Non-Stampin' Up inks etc. I also wanted to know if using a tiny bit of additional colors is okay, or is that dis-qualifies the entries?

Thanks so much for your Help! I think the colors your pick are fantastic and I am going to subscribe from now on, so that I can remember to play more often!!

Hello! I make a card every 2 weeks or so for my blog. I send all my cards to FROMOURHEARTS, a US group (I'M Canadian living outside Toronto) and donate all my cards, about 100 - 200 a month to that organization to send to the troops in war torn countries all over the world/ to send home to their loved ones. I put this entry in last week and realize I was "out" with the colors. This week, I feel the colors are more of a fit. Because of how I blog, I will totally understand if you don't want to consider me for your challenge, though I hope you do. I am dyslexic...I make my cards and go through over 50 sites and see which one's my cards fit. Am I the only one who does that? Anyway, I wanted to leave you this message because I absolutely love your site, think it is brilliant, especially the way you leave the past colors to the right for us to use in the future. That is more than generous; the creative juices and mojo can often go OUT THE WINDOW as I found for most of the summer while I was creating ONLY for fromourhearts and putting nothing on my blog. I hope this comment makes sense. I always am amazed not only how eclectic your DT examples are and how stellar each one is but love clicking onto the entries. It is really very cool to see which you chose...I usually say "right on" to your choices. That is a cool experience. Enjoy! Have a great weekend. Thanks for listening to my long winded explanation!
